I did not place well my stuff around my prosperity altar, and the bookcase on top of my commode almost fell.  All my tarot decks on top of the bookcase fell on my head, and I had to try to quickly grab my stuff on my commode, mostly other decks, to ensure they would not fall behind the commode.  In the accident my Ganesh statue broke so I have to replace it.  I’ve decided to buy a different one this time though, but it will have to go to april.

Also, my cat has not been feeling well for quite some time, has lost weight, and been leaving excrements right outside his litter.  Someone told me he’s constipated, and I’m really worried about my cat’s life right now since constipation in cats can lead to death if not treated.  So I’m going to go see a pet doctor in march, but in the meantime I’m really worried and scared about my cat and I want him to feel better as soon as possible.

In a group we were discussing about particular tunes that cleanse the chakras, and that calm and uplift us as well.  I love classic music so I’ll put here one of those tunes, “Ode à la joie” by Beethoven.  So today take a break and let that music transports you .

 

My computer really needs an upgrade, and my mother said she will pay for me for Christmas (and my birthday in january) a small portion of the upgrades, so I’m really excited!  I will have to save all my money for that in the coming months in order to do that.  I won’t be able to buy anything like mangas or decks for quite a while.  The only thing I really plan to buy is the expansion of Diablo 3 that I’m really looking forward to.

Right now this is pretty much what I have in mind, as for the graphic card, I just wonder whether I should take the 2 Gig one or the 4 Gig one:

I’ve managed today to get from my locker all my Yule decorations.  I had tons of heavy boxes to transport but it was worth it.  It’s been years since I’ve been able to do that.  My previous apartment was too small for my decorations so I did not do anything there.  It’s been so long I don’t remember much about how my decorations look like, including my Yule tree and village.  I made many of them myself, most of my cross-stitch projects are Yule related so I only see them in that period.  I plan to take pictures of my decorations once they’re up.  As for my Advent calendar, I plan to take a picture after Yule.

I’ve been pretty busy these last months.

I took a course in Petit Lenormand from Sylvie Steinbach that lasted 5 weeks, so I was very much that, and later too, to practices what I’ve learned.  I really loved the course.  I wanted to take the next ones but I made a mistake and missed the opportunity to take the next courses.

I’ve been working to make a tarot workshop for friends, which will be given in february, so I have tons of tarot books to read, and I purchased a few tarot books too.  So I’m working on taking notes and all that for the course.

And I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this autumn there has been so many new good tv shows, that I’ve not watched all the shows that I find interesting.  I plan to watch those other shows in december while the other ones will be on break.  Usually there is just one good new tv show to watch every year, so this year I’m overwhelmed.  I can say the same about animes.  I feel like all I do is watch tv, and personally I find watching tv numbing.

Frankly, I’ve not even played much MMORPGs because of that.  I quit Final Fantasy XIV Reborn because I don’t want to pay for a game I cannot play.  So I’ve invested in free-to-play MMORPGs instead.

With my new apartment being bigger, I’ll install my Yule decorations and tree in december.  I intend to post pictures of them.

My mother got refunds from the government and decided to give me part of it for the bed.  So I bought new mattresses and a different bed.  The bed I wanted was not available for my size of bed, so I choose a prettier one whose price had just gotten down, so I was able to afford it.  Here is the result in my bedroom (you have to open images on another tab with WordPress to see them full size, since they always shrink images to make them fit the width of the blogs):

I’m really happy, I feel like a princess when I’m in my new bed.  Maurice as you can see likes the new bed too and has given his seal of approval.

I have other plans like replacing my numerous ugly bookcases by bigger and prettier ones, and eventually getting a new bedroom set.

I’ve decided to have Mailoo as email provider.  Their servers are in France I guess and they have encryption for their servers, they use an open-source software for the webmail part.  The quota is decent.  Their website and the webmail has a French/English interface so I can suggest it to friends if necessary.  The downside is the max size of joined files is 5 MB on the webmail format which is really small.  But I have found alternatives for that.  One is that I can send bigger files using Thunderbird with my new email without problems.

I’ve ditched Dropbox and replaced it with ownCloud, and OwnDrive who hosts ownCloud has free accounts so I got one with them.  So now if there is any file bigger than 5 MB for Mailoo for joined files, I can always put them in OwnDrive and send the link to the files.

I have replaced here on WordPress all the files that were in Dropbox to OwnDrive.

I’m really happy!

It’s been very recently discovered that NSA has a project called PRISM, which consists of major internet corporations allowing NSA to spy freely and access everything.  Among those internet corporations are the big social networks like Facebook and Google+.  Facebook and Google+ already sells our informations to other corporations, and now as we discover, the NSA as well.  The NSA does more than just spying on american citizens, they also spy on everyone else as well, so that means we are all affected, since all the major internet corporations are all on american soil.  The internet is american owned.

I knew that corporations were watching us, and I was guessing probably the government as well.  So I’ve been avoiding Google and their internet tools, GMail and Google+ too.  I closed my Facebook account some years ago, I don’t use Skype.  I have all my emails with Hotmail so I’ve been looking for another email provider.
